Our perennially popular NOLA Experience program expanded in 2014 with exciting new elements – Greenie Camp, Hillel, and IGNITE. Together, these programs along with the NOLA Experience program now fall under one umbrella – EXPLORE. These pre-move in programs are designed to introduce students to each other, to Tulane, and to the broader New Orleans community to enhance their integration into university life. A group of dedicated full time professionals from several campus departments plan the activities based on each program’s topic. Our student staff assist the professional staff and lead team-building experiences. We count on our staff to be enthusiastic representatives of Tulane, sensitive guides and outstanding role models for new students.
This position is unpaid; however, student staff are granted campus housing early move-in privileges and participate in all of the activities and meals with their group. The selection process occurs in the spring.
