The SCCSL offers extensive education for the family and caretakers of newborn/infant patients with sickle cell disease while also providing outstanding medical care.            

OUR MISSION

• To provide extensive education to families of patients with sickle cell disease. 
  
  
• To provide outstanding medical care of the newborn/infant with sickle cell disease.
  
  
• To establish a relationship with the patient's primary care provider (PCP) to ensure the best continuity of care and information possible.
  
  
• To help families of patients with sickle cell disease access appropriate resources within the community to improve their support system to help their new baby.
  
  
• To reduce future medical complications caused by sickle cell disease including hospitalizations.
