The SCCSL offers extensive education for the family and caretakers of newborn/infant patients with sickle cell disease while also providing outstanding medical care.
OUR MISSION
To provide extensive education to families of patients with sickle cell disease.
To provide outstanding medical care of the newborn/infant with sickle cell disease.
To establish a relationship with the patient's primary care provider (PCP) to ensure the best continuity of care and information possible.
To help families of patients with sickle cell disease access appropriate resources within the community to improve their support system to help their new baby.
To reduce future medical complications caused by sickle cell disease including hospitalizations.
