Members of their club, Tulane for UNICEF Campus Initiative, will be on hand to collect monetary donations of any amount that will be donated to UNICEF for use in providing water, food, sanitation supplies, medicine and shelter to the affected children.“Our club predates Typhoon Haiyan and we have the utmost faith that UNICEF will be a driving force in returning the Philippines to a state that is better than it was before the natural disaster,” says Brusseau. “One dollar gives a child water for 40 days or 40 children water for one day. Even the smallest donation makes an impact.”
The group will also set up a donation table on Dec. 6 during the annual Tulane Snow Day.
