Lynn Luker, Terry O'Neill, Judge Karen Wells Roby and Cynthia Shoss discuss the contributions of women to law, government and society during an event held at the Tulane Law School on Monday (Oct. 14). The four women were among a number of distinguished alumnae of the law school who attended the session "Pioneering Women of Tulane Law." Luker is a prominent litigator who heads her own New Orleans firm; O'Neill, who is the president of the National Organization for Women, is a former faculty member of the law school; Roby is a magistrate judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana; and Shoss is a senior partner in the New York office of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan.
