Gonfalons

Leslie Marsh, second from left, adjusts a support strap for a standard of the Tulane seal. The students pictured will be carrying the ceremonial gonfalons with the colors of their school or college in this year's commencement, which will take place on May 18. On Thursday (May 2), the group practiced holding and walking with the gonfalons. Each year, Marsh, an assistant director of donor relations, takes on the role of gonfalon captain.
