Keeping Our Neighborhood Clean

New Orleans Waste Management is currently collecting household garbage and containerized trash in the area surrounding Tulane on Wednesdays. Tulane has also contracted with River Parish to provide additional waste management services to Tulane-affiliated properties on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Tulane’s Greek organizations take turns cleaning up the “Broadway Corridor” on Sunday afternoons. This fall, the weekly cleanups start on Sunday, August 30 and will be held Sundays through November 22.

For missed solid waste collection, city residents should call Waste Management at (504) 254-5353, ext. 311 or the Department of Sanitation at 658-3800.

Tulane fraternities and sororities should call Liz Schafer at (504) 865-6377 in the event of a missed trash collection.
