Come raise a glass to the age of speakeasies, bootlegging and bathtub gin! The Louisiana State Museum and the Louisiana Museum Foundation proudly present author and historian Sally Asher in a special interactive lecture marking the 80th anniversary of the end of Prohibition. Cameo performance by New Orleans' burlesque artist Trixie Minx, plus dramatic readings by Mikko, Veronica Russell, and Andrew Ward. Free and open to the public. Cocktail reception sponsored by Old New Orleans Rum, featuring complimentary Prohibition-style cocktails, at 6 p.m. Lecture at 7 p.m. After-party at d.b.a, 618 Frenchmen Street
