DAVIS Thomas Edmond Davis, Sr., age 86, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Mary Vaccaro Davis. Father of Thomas E. Davis, Jr., Mary D. Guidry, Jeanne Davis Chetta (Anthony), Joseph J. Davis (Theresa), Kathleen M. Davis and Stephen Scott Davis. Brother of John A. "Jack" Davis, the late Joseph Leo Davis, Agnes A. Homan, Helen D. Beckham, Francis W. Davis and Geneva D. Deleski. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A U.S. Navy Veteran who served in WWII and the Korean War, he was a proud member of the Tulane University community for over 50 years, as a barber until his recent illness.
