Adobe Connect is a web conferencing tool for online meetings, distance education, and webinars supported by Technology Services. Adobe Connect allows Tulane faculty and staff to host live, synchronous, online meetings and is completely browser-based (no special software is needed). Adobe Connect enables multiple users to share files or computer screens, chat, broadcast live audio and video, and collaborate online. Meeting sessions can also be recorded for later playback. Adobe Connect is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, and Android devices.
Adobe Connect is available to all Tulane University faculty and staff. Technology Services currently has an enterprise license of Adobe Connect with 100 concurrent user licenses and a 200-seat seminar room, which can be reserved for webinars, etc.
