Videoconferencing System Maintenance June 17-19

Technology Services will be performing maintenance on the university's Cisco/Tandberg videoconferencing infrastructure on Monday, June 17-Wednesday, June 19 from 8:00am-5pm CST.  During this period, the Jabber Video (Movi) desktop videoconferencing client and the following videoconferencing room systems will not be available for making video calls:

  • 1338 Audubon Conference Room
  • School of Medicine Room 6001
  • Primate Center Polycom system
  • Gibson Hall Room 129
  • Madison Campus Conference Room
  • Biloxi Campus Classroom 9
  • CIPR Conference Room

This maintenance will not affect AccessGrid/IOCOM videoconferencing systems.  Normal operations will resume after the maintenance is complete.

If you have already scheduled a videoconference event during this period, please contact Don Elbers (delbers@tulane.edu) so that the maintenance schedule can be adjusted.

  • School of Medicine Room 6001
  • Primate Center Polycom system

The Cisco Jabber Video (Movi) videoconferencing server is back online.

Videoconferencing Outage

We are observing an issue with Cisco Jabber Video (Movi) where users are unable to sign in to the client.  We are currently investigating the issue.

The sign-in issue with Jabber Video (Movi) has been resolved. Videoconferencing is operational and operating normally.

There is issue with Cisco Jabber Video (Movi). Users are unable to sign in.Technology Services is investigating the issue.

Scheduled maintenance on the university's Cisco/Tandberg videoconferencing system is now complete. All videoconferencing systems are functional and operating normally.

Technology Services will be performing maintenance on the university's Cisco/Tandberg videoconferencing infrastructure on Monday, April 30 from 8:00am-2pm CDT.  During this period, the Jabber Video (Movi) desktop videoconferencing client and the following videoconferencing room systems will not be available for making video calls:

  • Central Building Room 101
  • Telecommunications Building Room 101
  • 1555 Poydras Room 1438
  • School of Medicine Room 6001
  • Primate Center Polycom system
