Academic Services

FERPA Waiver: Please use this link to find the waiver that will allow Tulane University to discuss academic, financial and student conduct situations regarding your student with you. Your student should sign the form and return it to the Academic Advising Center on campus.

Academic Planning: This link to the Academic Advising Center resources has everything from major checklists and the Freshman Planning Guide to major exploration seminars and how your student can contact their academic adviser.

Disability Services & Testing: We encourage you and your student to be in touch with the Goldman Office of Disability Services early and often, as needed. This office is the key to offering your student, with documented academic or physical disabilities, the accommodations needed to be successful at Tulane.

Tutoring: Should your student wish to seek extra assistance the Tutoring Center and Writing Studio are both great (free) options at Tulane. Please share this link with your student and encourage them to take advantage of the assistance of fellow students.


Financial Services

Accounts Receivable: For all questions related to billing, view the student bill, make a payment, forms related to financial information or see the payment deadlines upcoming.

Financial Aid: This site has a wealth of information on scholarship criteria, deadlines, what to expect with disbursement of aid, and information for students to contact their particular financial aid counselor.

Splash Card: Go here to make deposits on your student’s Splash card.


Campus Life

Move-in: This website is invaluable for parents of new students at Tulane with a list of what to bring, move-in maps, and much more.

Summer Storage: This website of approved moving and storage companies is updated each year in March for the proceeding summer.

Student Health: Click here to visit parent resources for immunization records, student health insurance, the services available at the Health Center on campus, and mental health services.

Meal Plans: On this page, you will find more information about the meal plans for students or the dining services at Tulane, and the care packages you can send to your student.

Bookstore: Everything from e-books to textbook rentals and beyond.

Hurricane Evacuation: Visit the Office of Emergency Management at Tulane for resources on preparing your family hurricane evacuation plan and for updates on any emergency at Tulane and in New Orleans.
