Business Proposal Competition
About the program
The Tulane University School of Medicine's Technology Commercialization Program announces a judged competition for innovative business proposals. Business proposals must include a plan for technology development and should relate to one of three categories: pharmaceuticals, medical devices or educational media/software technology.
The competition is open to all students (MD, MS or PhD) at the School of Medicine. Graduate students from other Tulane schools are welcome to participate on teams, but the Lead Submitter must be a student in the School of Medicine. There is no limit on the number of submissions per student or team.
A cash prize of $5,000 plus designated support to develop a full business plan will be awarded to one winning proposal. Introductions to potential corporate sponsors and investors will be arranged.
