Faculty Development Seminars May 8-10, 2013

Day 1: Writing for Biomedical Publication Seminar

In this full-day seminar, attendees will receive detailed instruction on all aspects of manuscript preparation, choosing appropriate co-authors and journals, copyright issues, plagiarism, effective revision and resubmission strategies, as well as how the review process operates.

Target Audience: All Tulane University faculty seeking guidance on preparing biomedical publications

Day 2: Getting Started as a Successful Proposal Writer and Academician

This full-day seminar will focus on principles and fundamentals that are applicable to writing a research grant proposal.

Target Audience: Tulane University Post-doctoral Fellows

Day 3: Writing Winning Renewal Proposals to NIH

This half-day seminar focuses on writing renewal applications, as well as other strategies for maintaining long-term grant support.
