Tulane Volunteers Will "Wear the Green" at Day of Service in City Park

On the eve of St. Patrick’s Day 500+ Tulane faculty, staff and alumni will don green and work in City Park for a Day of Service

WHAT: Wave of Green, Tulane University's Day of Service
WHO: On the eve of St. Patrick's Day, nearly 500 Tulane faculty, staff and alumni will don green t-shirts and descend on City Park for a Day of Service. Among other tasks, volunteers will mulch, clear brush, pick up litter, plant trees, weed gardens and beautify the park’s greenhouse.
WHERE: City Park's Great Lawn, Casino building, Amusement Park, Botanical Gardens and Popp Fountain/Tennis Courts
WHEN: Friday, March 16, 2012, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
