A small group from the Tulane University community gathers on the uptown campus on Tuesday (Dec. 3) to mingle while viewing artwork by students and faculty affiliated with the Center for Computational Science. The Computational Art Show is an annual event held to call attention to the collaborative and multidisciplinary work at the center.
The computer-generated works illustrate research currently taking place at the center and span the fields of physics, genetics, biology, physiology and engineering.
Each piece of art is accompanied by a placard explaining the science behind it.
