Students receive a lesson on the art and craft of creating with plaster at Porée Plastering. Proprietor Jeff Porée is a fifth generation plasterer who was raised in the tradition of Seventh Ward architectural tradesmen. The lesson was part of Folk Life Tradition of NOLA, a Tulane InterDiciplinary Experience Seminar offered to first-year students.
