Welcome Wednesdays will resume at the Bea Field Alumni House on the Tulane uptown campus on Wednesday (Sept. 5). Students, faculty and staff members are invited to start the day socializing with fellow Tulanians while enjoying a free continental breakfast.

The event will continue every Wednesday throughout the semester.

Alumni Affairs began hosting Welcome Wednesdays in October 2011 as a means of reacquainting the Tulane community with the office of alumni affairs.

The creation of Welcome Wednesdays coincided with the reopening of the Bea Field Alumni House, which underwent extensive renovations to repair Hurricane Katrina-related damages.

Breakfast will be served from 8:30 until 10 a.m. at the alumni house, which is located at 6319 Willow St.

The alumni affairs office can be reached at 504-865-5901 for more information.
