Tulane Ambulance Corps

Tulane University medical students run a horse-drawn ambulance corps, circa 1905, in this photo taken in front of Charity Hospital at the time. See the photo below (by Sally Asher) to compare and contrast with the Tulane Emergency Medical Service today, which is staffed by students who are trained and certified as paramedics.
