Petting zoo
Senior Maggie Gibson pets a Nigerian dwarf goat on the Alcee Fortier quad on the Tulane University uptown campus. Gibson says she grew up on a cattle farm in Missouri, so the animals make her feel right at home. She will return home after graduation to work on the family farm for the summer before heading to law school in the fall. Animals from Rowdy’s Rascals, a local petting zoo, make regular appearances on campus during exam periods to help students alleviate end-of-semester stress.
