Internships and Independent Studies

Students at Tulane can gain unique experiences and earn credit by engaging in public service. The Center for Public Service offers several options that allow juniors and seniors to apply their academic knowledge and critical thinking skills, serve community needs, and develop professional, leadership, and research skills.

To fulfill the 2^nd tier of their public service graduation requirement, students may choose to do a public service internship, an independent study, or write an honors thesis.
