Date: Friday, September 6, 2013
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Grow Dat Youth Farm, City Park
This immersive boot camp, 48-hour weekend workshop will teach a practical “social innovation and social entrepreneurship toolkit”. This format is designed to meet the needs of graduate students in applied, problem-oriented disciplines. It will enrich formal academic training with trans-disciplinary dialogue and practical skills for greater social impact in addressing complex, pressing social challenges—such as poverty, lack of schooling, pollution, and poor health.
There are no tuition costs; no formal course credit will be offered. We will require a $40 refundable deposit to secure your spot.
Limited space is available, reserve your spot today. We seek a diversity of interests and backgrounds and welcome graduate students from any discipline. Staff and faculty may be able to join if space is available.
