The Office of Research has established a Critical Needs Fund to assist with unforeseen expenses, for example, the repair of essential equipment being used in ongoing research studies.  Requests for funding up to $5,000 should be made directly to the Vice President for Research (llevy@tulane.edu), and should include the following information:

1.  Justification for the request, including an estimate for the cost of equipment repair or other purchase.
2.  Indication that a portion of the cost will be shared by the intended users.
3.  Indication that the need is related to a planned grant proposal or publication.
4.  Curriculum Vitae of the requester.
