SCHOOL OF CONTINUING STUDIES
TALL PROGRAM - The Tulane Alumni Lifelong Learning (TALL) Initiative, a partnership between the Tulane Alumni Association and the School of Continuing Studies (University College), offers educational programs to our alumni and local community. The free program will provide faculty-led sessions on a variety of topics on-campus as well as networking opportunities.
EDUCATIONAL TRAVEL
Ref Works - RefWorks is a helpful program for academics and researchers. It allows users to manage citations in their academic papers. RefWorks enables writers to link to the abstract of a reference in the bibliography so that readers can access the studies and other literature authors relied upon to research the pieces.
In the past, alumni were unable to access RefWorks once they graduated. But now, students who sign up for RefWorks while still enrolled at Tulane, will have life-long access to the program.
Ref Works is web-based, meaning that you can access it anywhere at any time – even at academic conferences.
However, please keep in mind that this program is only available to students going forward. Those who have already graduated from Tulane will not be able to use the program – there is no retroactive membership.
If you’re a Tulane student who is about to graduate or just want to get a jump start on using this terrific program, you can sign up for RefWorks here: https://www.refworks.com/Refworks/login.asp?WNCLang=false; or by going through the Tulane website: http://library.tulane.edu/research/databases_at_tulane.php?a=R
For any other questions, please contact Paul St. Pierre at Tulane’s Library department either by phone at (504) 865-5643 or by email at pstpierr@tulane.edu.
