The School of Continuing Studies was founded as Tulane's University College in 1942 to make a high-quality Tulane University education available to everyone regardless of age or financial resources. The school offers bachelor's degrees, associate's degrees, pre-and post-baccalaureate certificates, and a master of liberal arts degree. An open admission policy, competitive tuition rates and flexible schedules answer the needs of students of all ages who seek academic and professional advancement. Classes are offered in a variety of locations in the New Orleans area and Biloxi, Miss., as well as online.
The school also administers Tulane's summer school program, giving both Tulane and visiting students the opportunity to work on degree requirements during the summer.
